These Terms explain how customers and hair braid professionals may use BraidBids. By using BraidBids, you agree to these Terms.
Important Licensing Disclaimer
BraidBids helps customers request hair braid quotes from local hair braiders. BraidBids does not verify every provider’s cosmetology license, hair braiding license, business license, insurance, training, or legal eligibility to provide services. Licensing rules may vary by state, city, county, and service type.
Customers are encouraged to do their own due diligence before booking, including asking the hair braider about licensing, experience, sanitation practices, pricing, policies, and service details if those matters are important to them.
BraidBids Marketplace
BraidBids helps customers request hair braid quotes and helps local hair braid professionals review customer requests. BraidBids is not the hair braider and does not perform hair braid services.
Quotes and Pricing
Hair braid quotes are estimates provided by hair braid professionals. Final pricing, timing, deposits, travel fees, hair-included details, appointment rules, cancellations, and other service details are confirmed between the customer and the selected hair braid professional.
Customer Requests
Customers are responsible for entering accurate contact details, ZIP codes, desired hair braid styles, braid size, appointment preferences, service location details, notes, and uploaded sample images.
Customer Due Diligence
Customers are responsible for deciding whether a hair braid professional is the right fit for their needs. Customers should ask questions, review photos, confirm pricing, confirm availability, and verify licensing, insurance, sanitation practices, or other professional credentials if they choose to do so before booking.
Hair Braid Professional Responsibility
Hair braid professionals are responsible for their own pricing, availability, licensing, service quality, customer communication, appointment policies, sanitation practices, taxes, business requirements, and compliance with applicable laws or regulations.
Uploaded Content
By uploading a sample image, profile photo, portfolio image, message, or request detail, you confirm that you have the right to share that content for the purpose of using BraidBids.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, abusive, or content that you do not have permission to use.
SMS Text Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive text messages, you authorize BraidBids to send SMS messages related to your hair braid request, provider quote alerts, selected provider confirmations, appointment-related notices, account support, and service updates.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You may also contact admin@braidbids.com for support.
BraidBids text messages are intended for transactional and service-related communication. BraidBids may use third-party communication service providers, including Twilio, to send, deliver, monitor, and manage SMS text messages.
BraidBids does not sell, rent, or transfer SMS consent. BraidBids does not share mobile opt-in data or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Phone Number Sharing After Selection
BraidBids hides customer and provider phone numbers before a hair braid professional is selected. After a customer selects a hair braid professional, BraidBids may share the customer and selected provider phone numbers with each other so they can coordinate the appointment directly by call or text.
After phone numbers are shared, direct calls and direct text messages between the customer and selected hair braid professional happen outside the BraidBids platform. BraidBids is not responsible for direct communications, pricing changes, appointment changes, cancellations, or agreements made outside the platform.
Payments
BraidBids may charge a request fee or other service-related fees. Any payment terms shown during checkout apply to that transaction. BraidBids may use third-party payment processors to process payments and does not store full payment card numbers.
Unless otherwise stated, fees paid to BraidBids are for access to the request, quote, or platform service. Hair braid service payments, deposits, balances, tips, travel fees, and other service charges may be handled directly between the customer and selected hair braid professional.
No Guarantee of Quotes or Appointments
BraidBids does not guarantee that every customer request will receive quotes, that every quote will lead to an appointment, or that every hair braid professional will be available. Availability depends on providers, location, timing, service details, and other factors.
Limitation of Responsibility
BraidBids provides a platform to help customers and hair braid professionals connect. BraidBids is not responsible for the actual hair braid services performed, provider conduct, customer conduct, direct communications, service quality, appointment outcomes, or disputes between customers and providers.
Changes to These Terms
BraidBids may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we may update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of BraidBids after the Terms are updated means you accept the updated Terms.
